MASTUL Foundation, a Bangladesh-based NGO, has supported the people of Gaza by providing food aid, medical supplies, and other essential relief materials on behalf of the people of Bangladesh In response to the difficult circumstances faced by the residents of the Gaza Strip in Palestine.
According to a press release, the foundation has been providing food aid since the month of Ramadan in 2024.
Representatives of the foundation working in the Gaza project in Egypt described their experiences in providing aids to Gazans through various routes with the help of local partners.
"We face significant logistical challenges in sending food and other supplies to Gaza," Zayed, a representative, stated.
Abdul Karim, another representative working in Gaza, said, “I risk my life for my country, traveling across the most affected and war-torn areas of Gaza, including northern and southern Gaza, as well as the heavily impacted areas of Deir al-Balah, Mawasi Karara, and Rafah. I am constantly moving, hoping to ease the suffering of the people. I don’t know the condition of my family or whether they are alive.”
Expressing determination to continue such initiative, Kazi Reaz Rahman, the founder of the platform, said, “Despite limited resources, the foundation is committed to standing with the people of Gaza.”
The press release said on long-term plans to support orphaned children’s education, empower widows, and assist in the rehabilitation of those affected by the conflict in Gaza.
